I'm Komal Neupane. I'm a recent graduate from NYUAD. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Computer Science (with minors in Economics and Mathematics) at NYU Abu Dhabi. In August 2026 I'll begin a Master's in Data Science at Columbia University.

My work sits at the intersection of AI, data science, and computational social science. I'm broadly interested in how AI systems behave, how they affect labor markets and decision-making, and in building tools that apply ML and data methods to real social questions.
